Hmm seems fake? I have an 18v saw like the one they use, and it cuts fast and like butter. The screw test also looks the same to me to be honest, I only see the benefit of the 40v for special applications such as circular saws and chain saws or big angle grinders.

Purchase one and find it pretty good especially the various attachments though for me a bit heavy to use at height but ok with care. The small bolt / thumb screw in front of the throttle trigger fell out of mine due to vibration I guess. Never figured how it’s purpose and it’s not mentioned in manual. Decent piece of kit for the money 😊

I have a brand new one of these & ive only had a few squirts of grease then nothing, ive just followed your procedure to remove residual air got 3 squirts then nothing? You could wear a fully charged battery out & still end up with nothing?? Could it be drawing air from somewhere?

Quite frankly not really convinced by the speed increase in this video... I own both Makita and DeWalt platforms and buy best of their tools. However, no backward compatibility on Makita is kind of pushing me more towards DeWalt FlexVolt which is backward compatible i.e. can run higher capacity batteries such as 9,12 or 15AMP on existing 18V tools (currently own 3 x DW 9AMP 54V batteries and 3 x MK 6AMP 18V). Also, there are still Makita twin 18V thus 36V tools available that probably get quite close in terms of power to the 40V platform. I personally prefer Makita build quality as DeWalt feels cheaper but can't justify to take the plunge into 40V platform - it just doesn't feel right in particular from the financial perspective (unless require one of those tools that have no equivalent in 18V or twin 36V).

I have 3 xgt tools. and they are realy great. But I think that I made the wrong choice buying them. When you buy Bosch ProCore you have the same Power, sometimes the tools are a little weaker sometimes they are a little stronger. Depends on the tool. But you have a wider range of different tools and you can also buy tools from other companies which are in the amp share system. So you have one batterie typ but you can do much more with it.

This is so far from correct.. I see this post almost daily 💀💀💀 I've put my Milwaukee stuff through hell the last 10 years and have never had a battery issue besides when they get run over. Shit I dropped one off a blender not to long ago was perfectly fine scratched a good bit but not broken or falling outta the impact/ drill or anything
@Patrick.Weightman5 ай бұрын
@@infamousftfw If you see it daily, all from different people across different walks of life, all working in different industries and putting them through all sorts of different abuse, yet all of them have the same definitive opinion... then who's the odd one out here? To that effect if you paid attention for half a second you would see the vast majority of people complaining how Milwaukee's quality has _plummeted_ over the last 10-15 years
@infamousftfw5 ай бұрын
@Patrick.Weightman Oh man, if you think of how many people bought/own/use/abuse those tools right. And then you think of how many people complain.. you're talking about 1% or less of users who are doing the complaining or having these issues. I bought my 2767 when they first came out, put it through hell and back. I replaced it last year due to the impact it's self, just not catching anymore, and it would just sit there and click. I get people love to bitch and complain, but give credit where credits due. Also wtf were you going on about "incompatible with other chargers" bro what? I've got Chinese Amazon batteries and chargers, I've never run into that issue either.. one-off issues aren't a reason to shit talk a brand 😂😂 but at the end of the day you'll do you and I'll do me. Have a good one, best of luck. (Also there is a company somewheres that sells "battery straps" for the M18 stuff, gets screwed into where the belt clips are and it's supposed to take the vibration away and keep the battery tight. Or so they say, never seen one yet)
