Hi Qestn. I uploaded nemzzz type beat everyday and 2 weeks ago, suddenly one video blow up to 1k (usually I got 100views) but the video after this one is back to 100 views again. I still confused about this.

That´s completely normal, and you need to keep posting and take advantage of the fact that youtube is starting to recommend your beats.

I've been posting almost everyday for 5 months, about 3 months ago i peaked in daily subs and views and got to 500 subs, now my channel seems dead, click through rate and average view percentage went up since then, becauseI've been posting better beats and thumbnails but youtube stopped showing my vids to people. any tips?

@qhundo2099 yeah, the reason why is because I used to make beats with samples and since I am now selling them I make everything from scratch and I'm not that good at making soulful melodies, do you think it would be worth it to go back into that niche?

We missed you, man! I remember watching your old videos where you're walking around your house while talking😂 That was around 2 years ago already, I think. I'm still not yet as successful and I'm glad I stumbled upon your new videos because I need to improve my game! My niche is kpop though so that might be a factor since type beats are better known for hip hop(plus, the arrangements in kpop are so challenging, I can't always finish a beat every day lol but I'm glad I can still build my brand even with less than 7 beat uploads weekly)

Nah if you knew where I came from in regards to building myself up in the type beat thing you'll know that I am all about the grind. Posted for near 3 years straight EVERY SINGLE DAY NO MISSES. I recently had some doubts about whether I wanted to carry on as a producer as I became Christian and had to question whether my music was contributing positively to the world, hence why my focus has shifted to passing on knowledge to those who need it and still have ambitions in becoming producers themselves.

You can upload different styles within a niche so long as the artist ACTUALLY makes similar stuff. For example, Drake makes RNB, Afro, Dancehall etc, so any of these can be valid styles to upload. But realistically you wanna stick to 1-2 artists max in the beginning!

The problem that I have is that I make my beats for the artistry of it, the thing with a niche is that is boxes you in into one type of beat and as a creator, you limit your creativity. I don't want to be making only beats for one artist, I want to make beats for everyone. I'm not a beat factory. What's your advice for someone like me?

100%. Type beats are purely a marketing move and by default restricts/forces you to play by certain rules. But ultimately, this is the best way to get your beats heard online. Pick a niche and build a following posting within that niche. Can't have it your way all of the time.

Half true, u can post however much u want, every other day or 3 days, as long as ur consistently posting within that time frame, so the algorithm expects when ur gonna post. Not everyone has the capacity like i do to make something every day cause of other things in their lives. ik how it is, so others in my area as well who dont post everyday still get steady good results. So really its a combination of how good the beats ur posting are, and sticking to a time frame where u can be flexible. Yea ur channel might drop if u go from every day to every 2 days for whatever reason may be, but i'd only reccommend doing that if ur channels at a certain point of success where u could still accumulate views on beats and be lenient with ur schedule. still thinks its super important to post every day or as often as u can, when u gain the success u wanna gain from doing this, you could pul back a bit but not too much. hope this helps!

it just wont work 99,999% of the time. i had a channel where i uploaded daily for a year+ straight and got basically no traction. i literally sold nothing and the biggest beat is NOW at 700 views (4 years after the upload lmaoo). obviously, i stopped uploading there since it made no sense. since then, until now, ive been consistently working on music and getting paid through recording sessions, mixing/mastering and custom beats but its such a pain in the ass when you're working with noname local rappers with no talent whatsoever. so yeah, the point im tryna get to is --> whichever way you wanna go, if the goal is to make a living, there WILL be a compromise that you're gonna have to adapt to in order to make it all work out. type beats are great and if your beats really slap, it will definetly make everything easier, but even then, you have to let go of your own ego and accept that it will be hard. upload daily, stick to one type of beats, schedule your uploads, have clean thumbnails and have everything organized. in the end, its all pretty simple really, but most of us fail at the consistency part cus we hate to admit to ourselves that the pull we feel to make different genres and hop waves is just stronger than the desire to make a living off of beats :DD. good luck brother, we got this shit on lock🙏🙏

great advice bro💯 I have a question though, I have been daily uploading since july 2023(missed a few days here and there but only like once some months, not a lot) I have sold beats before and people said they fw my beats, I have had artists hop on them etc etc. but I havent had a video that got over 1k views and my views are kinda hit or miss, I get a few beats after each other that get hundred+ views and then other get just under 100 views or some of them just do really bad(really inconsistent views), although my views and watch hours are increasing every month. do you think I should start a new channel or continue on this one or do you have any other advice please, it would be greatly appreciated(currently have 129 subs and 271 uploads)
