My favourite Satterwhite moment in the WPATH files is when he tried to be a real doctor and establish standards of care but was shot down then had to apologise. Imagine being willing to lower your own excellent standards to get rich off the mentally deranged. Related to standards of care and gatekeeping, how cool would it be to prevent patient violence by screening out the crazy before operating. Amazing.

How do I know if this is right for me?

I'm sorry but a few FFS patients still look make. For Example; time code 0:56 minutes. if you don't have even just a little feminine features the FFS just don't work.

Another great video presentation by Dr. Gurjala. As an out-of-state potential patient I wish someone from the staff could gather a list of potential places to reside for future phalloplasty patients because the cost of living is exponentially higher than most states that were coming from. If we are to remain in close proximity to the hospital for 3 to 4 months this is a factor that it’s not paid by insurance so preparing for this cost and knowing how much expenses are expected will be beneficial.

Im a female but have been taunted and not treated very well throughout my life because of my masculine features. I'm now 41 years old, but have cried about my face since i was a young teenager. Days id go out thinking i looked nice, but without fail brought back to reality really quickly as soon i joined the public where people would say or do things to indicate they had a problem with the way i looked. Im never going to be able to get surgery, and i feel like theres no more hope left.

My critique is that the approach that Align should take is all inclusive. At times they will really make you feel unheard and like a number. I laughed not because he isn't talented but sometimes they just seem disconnected.

A lot of people who don't understand anatomy saying it hasn't changed a thing.

Amazing how they still look like men even after these butchering surgeries!

I can say from experience, Dr Satterwhite does an absolutely fantastic job. I'm coming up on four and a half years since he did my vaginoplasty. He shows great care and interest in the concerns and expectations of his patients. Dr Satterwhite is a fantastic doctor that I would recommend to anyone on this path, in fact, I'm hoping to have more work done by him because I trust him and know that he genuinely cares for those that come to him for their needs. -Shayna

Yep, need to get this done. I already have a pretty big butt, but I'll take more lol but I really need more hips, remove under arm flab, and maybe do something about my inner thighs, probably a tummy tuck too. But the hips is probably the area with the most need, along with making my arms smaller. We'll talk more in depth in person. It'll be like "long time no see" lol I can't believe I'm already coming up on 5 years post gcs, it's crazy! lol out of curiosity though(I don't know if you read these comments but in case you do) what's kinda the wait period for this series of operations, from formal request to surgery date? Thank you Dr Satterwhite, you're a real lifesaver!

One of the next on my list. I love the job he did with my vaginoplasty, probably going to need more depth, I didn't have much penile or scrotal tissue to work with to begin with and I lost depth because I was homeless and unable to dilate for awhile. Even if I can't bring back some depth and width with my dilators, I wouldn't change having had my vaginoplasty for the world. Thank you so much Dr Satterwhite! Although I have to admit though, I am extremely intrigued by that peritoneal flap surgery. Anyway, I still need body contouring, a trachea shave and the vocal feminization surgery. I'm pretty sure they're the only surgeries that are available that I haven't gotten yet, oh and I need to get back to getting electrolysis desperately lol Thanks again Dr Satterwhite! You're a real life saver!
