I love it but in the industry done a few vettes gm bought for their museum was that sealer or primer? If primer i hope it was polyester and not a urethane. Also i wouldnt trust those previous paint jobs many guys butchered those cars because they dont know how to work on fiberglass. The times if talked to customers about this and sure enough digging just a bit deeper we always found garbage. Its worth the time to do a proper repair but i also understand enjoying a car and getting it done. Problem with vettes is it either holds for 50yrs or cracks in the first month of driving.

Type3s have basically a bug engine but there are differences.type3 cases had oil fill towards bottom of case bugs didn’t.plus the cooling system is different.bugs had “upright” cooling with the crank pulley turning the cooling fan on a type3 it’s a “pancake” so the fan is driven off the crank
