I hate to be Debbie Downer here, but Joey looks way to thin here and doesn't sound right. I actually wonder if he's had a stroke.

Sorry dear but unless a FRIEND services your car, you cannot stand by the car while it's being serviced. The mechanic will lose his insurance and nobody's business is worth having that happen.

In 1964 the average gas mileage was around 13 mpg for cars and light trucks, I guarantee she pays more in gas than her performative frugality saves her

Even at 6 years young, played on an old Webcor tube record changer, I knew I was a rocker forever. 1967 was a great time for music.

@NeutronX1012 күн бұрын
No wonder they went out of business. Lifetime warranty does not mean the general wear and tear and use of the part. It means during the parts "lifetime" it would be free of manufacturing defects. They should of understood their own policy.

She’s from a generation where people invest in their vehicle for its lifetime. Not get bored of it after 2 years and trade up to accumulate more debt. What an inspiration.

This aired years ago. Most likely this car has been crushed by now. She died at age 99. Without the "lifetime warranty" it's not worth much especially since it probably had way over 600k when she passed. It's also a crappy 65 not one of the older Mercury models from the 40s or 50s that are better looking and more desirable to collectors. Those are rolling works of art, the 60s and later Mercury's are crap.

So here is the problem with what those companies were offering. Lifetime warranted on products. Wait if a company could offer that back in the day. How come today they can't. O because they robbing us on purpose.

They treat me the same way! It's not bullshit at all...or in any way. The company shareholders are good with it too....they are happy to lose share value. Capitalism is magnificent.

This woman is my spirit animal. When I was 14 I bought a 10-Speed bike from Sears. For another $17 you could get a guarantee that covered all parts and labor, including for accidental damage. I beat the unholy shit out of that thing for three years. Each time we'd bring it back and Sears would restore it to like-new condition. That must have happened ten times. Probably why they went out of business.
