By "they" you're addressing to a single guy who despite a total community support, which made this game possible in a first place, has mismanaged his creation so badly that ended up pissing everyone off. Instead of delivering upon the promised updates, releasing cut content and overdue fixes, he went off the radars for a year, first popping out to grab GamePass deal, making a barely functional port for Xbox One (which at the time was perceived as an attempt to share the game with more people, so community let that slide, despise the obvious red flags), and then after another year of radio silence he went for Sony's money as well, releasing PS5 port (of not a great quality either) with an exclusive PSVR2 mission pack, which was basically a middle finger for everyone who've supported him up to this point. He also have released a rushed beta on Steam around the same time with new cloud and lighting effects (which nobody asked for), making game even more unstable and resource-demanding (instead of addressing the existing issues, never mind the originally announced updates and content). And again, no communication whatsoever. How do you think, what are the chances of him making anything like you want? Your best option at the moment is to go at NexusMods and download SkM.30 (which was actually a part of a cut content) that will replace Sk.37 via Project Sicario Merger (you'll be even able to download Sol 1 and UPEO skins for it).

@@sirfijoe450 I wonder if AC7 release on a Switch will make him chase that too, ditching underbaked PS5 version as well. Maybe not, because that will require immense optimisation efforts and, most importantly, Nintendo provides no special deals, as far as I know.
