I like to practice speed by giving each chord a single stroke and trying to move between them very quickly. Like you might play 3 or 5 single notes one after the next in a little riff or melody, I got faster by trying to do single stroke chords like that, like each chord is a quarter note or there might even be an 8th note thrown in here and there.

I've been saying this for years, the left hand ain't that important, keep the vibe going with good timing, it doesent matter if the chords are fretted correctly

Maybe some guitarists who have fragile egos, won't agree but no one should be put off by the words; "beginner's patterns". I know that one of my shortcomings is clean-precise finger picking and these patterns have been a remedial godsend for me. I've been studying your exercises since 2014 and your teachings have never steered me wrong. Thank you, yet again!
