If I got a nickel for everytime a post 2000s TV show replaced the main character with Arthur, gave him Lancelot's tradition role as the coveted romantic hero forbidden lover, and then promptly got cancelled before he suffered any consequences I'd have three nickles. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened three times

I haven't watched the show yet so I'm confused about the curse. Why did Temperance place a curse on Nancy and Ace so they can never be together? Was she jealous of them or something?

No she’s a damn witch and she doesn’t want Nancy to kill her so she knows she won’t if she threatens to put a curse on them cause she knows they like eachother she’s not jealous :) (WATCH THHE SHOW ITS SOOOO GOOOOD)

Killing me that Nancy and Ace are the “love of each other’s lives” and we’re 7 eps away from the series end, yet she’s at least somewhat interested in another guy… I get she and Ace kind of came to an understanding and stuff, but it seems a lot easier for her to ease into moving on than it is for him, even though she spent more “time” actually experiencing them together in general. I’m sure she’s got more going on under the surface feelings wise, but I’m so confused how it’s not more difficult for her to be with someone new.

Exactly! I honestly thought that she would have a harder time moving on as she had the realization that she loves Ace since season 2. Honestly the writers writing her and seemingly so easily getting on with another guy makes her look "easy". I thought they would at least maker Nace a "pushing daisies" kind of situation. There are other ways to show love than being intimate. They could just have a date at the beach and get to know each other more.

@@snoopy101200 It is indeed! The amount of planning they do for the storylines is nearly unheard of for current television! I'm still impressed how they made who we thought were just random townspeople into lost souls, genius!
