I wonder apart from state owned railway museums if China will ever produce the circumstances that allows for volunteer driven heritage lines like those in Europe, Japan and the US. These last bastions seems to be in regions where people lack the spare time and resources for maintaining such an endeavor. And those who do have those resources seems to be located in high density cities with no space for such operations. The steam crane maintaining the coaling looks like a very interesting piece of equipment, it appears to be steam powered despite the mid century modern look and somehow it transmits power to those freight bogies it is resting on allowing it to move on its own.

Thank you for posting this. We saw them in Manchester on this tour. It was class from start to finish. Remarkable that the original gig was cancelled about a year before because of Judith's brain haemorrhage. We kept our tickets in the hope she would recover and return which of course she did. The way they thanked and said goodbye to their fans, as shown in this video, was memorable.

Thanks. I still find Judith's attention to fans at the stage door very touching.

Still don't compare Pakistan with India. I see you are promoting this video on Pakistani youtube channels like TCM originals. I dont understand what you are trying to prove by comparing. There is absolutely no comparison. Pakistan has institutionalized slavery, religious fanatics, most of the slaves are either Christian or Hindu minority, these population have absolutely no escape, which even most of their organizations do not help. This type of cruelty is nowhere in the world except Pakistan. So don't try to act smart. Thanks

During the severe Covid shutdown, this song (I am Australian) was played in Australia so often it became an anthem. Kept us thinking of others and our identities within multicultural Australia.

Hello Stephen , what a wonderful memory of what will always be a high point of my life as a painter , I was born in North Wales and as a 16 year old in 1962 I went to my my first museum , The Walker Art Gallery , this changed my life after that moment of inspiration I decided that I was going to be an artist and if I worked hard and had some luck one day I might even show a painting there , !!!!! I did work hard and had a lot of luck . When I made the Liverpool Cityscape it was so much more than just another painting it was my way of saying THANK YOU to All the people of the City . A very special experience and thank you for this. wonderful record of our time there with " magic " people

Hello Ben, thanks for your kind words. I was brought up in Liverpool in the Fifties/Sixties and I always regard it as 'home' even though I have lived in the South the rest of my life. I think you caught Liverpool at a turning point as the City of Culture year marked a renaissance for a city that went through a tough time after the collapse of the Port jobs and 'new' industries. Best wishes, Stephen.

Sadly i was not there to see it arrive. But, i have since been to see it & been lucky & privileged to go aboard it. Suchba GREAT SHAME!!! this will never run again on our railways. But, so nice to see it has been lovingly cared for & maybe one day the STUPID SELFISH council will put back things of yesteryear The Overhead railway & our beloved trams ( I VERY MUCH DOUBT that will ever happen.SADDLY!!!) But, i supposedly we can dream & remember those days of travel. ( Those that are still about to talk about them).

What sets a side Christianity and Islam is that both they have imperialistic ideology. They spread, usually by force on the expense of other cultures!
