My daughter is starting Medicine at King's College on the 14th of September. She achieved 3110 in the UCAT, and I believe that most interview offers require well over 2900 except for contextual offers. It’s a very competitive course and strong in clinical training. Even Bristol's cut off was 2910 in 2024. Getting into Medicine is incredibly challenging!!

This video was very helpful, but I just wanted to say for the long question you went through most of the time thats the shortest text i get as the ones I usually get are like double the amount of text and that is for like 80% of the questions. How would you advise going about those questions as I try my hardest to get them right but I always get around 40% right

Reporting to DVLA is good, but I think recommending an appointment with a physciatrist could be beneficial, as in the scenario, the patient is told not to drive and the negative implications but continues to anyway. This confident but faulty logic could be a sign of some mental illnesses though I am not fully sure.

Hello Sir, I am an international student . What marks are submitted to the universities in the UK if you want to pursue medicine? Especially if you have a IGCSE Certificate and an Advanced Placement (AP) certificate .Since I have those two certificates can I apply to med school or I have to take the UCAT test first?

Why did you choose to do both dentistry and medicine? I’ve been looking into medicine recently and I have a massive interest in anaesthetics so I would love to pursue this but dentistry is something I’m so passionate about I’m really not sure what to pick. 😭

This might seem like a silly question but I’ve only ever considered dentistry so I’m a bit confused about medicine. What job does it give you straight out of uni? Does it just basically allow you to go into any speciality if you choose? I don’t really get it. 😭

This video didn’t help that much. It gives surface level advice and doesn’t actually explain how to approach the different type of questions. For example for the logic puzzles, often drawing a diagram can help to visualise the problem. I would like to see actual walkthroughs of these various questions not just reading the medify mark schemes. I would’ve got the same information from doing the questions myself. Love what you’re doing though!!

Can I please get some advice regarding my daughter, she didn’t get the A levels she required to go to med school, so we’re looking at a her doing biomedical science and then applying for med school after graduating. I don’t know anything, is this the best way. Her A levels are C in biology, C in Chemistry and E in Maths, so we can’t use her A levels to apply for med school,her college was a huge factor as she was taught by teachers who have never taught these subjects and unfortunately feel like the college played a huge factor in her results, she previously got 7/8/9 in all her GCSES so she did very well. But as a parent who grew up in a foster home and unfortunately didn’t have the means or ability to go further in life, I feel as though I don’t know enough, to support her further. What would our next course of action be? Thank

I agreed with you that the first question is horrible one. I hate them indeed. Why? Because they are very long passages and detailed and also time consuming making me feel very stressed under the time pressure as well. 50 questions to answer in 12 minutes 🤔🤔 I cannot handle them ☹️☹️
