Bro I got this recommend on my fyp, commenting this just so you get the attention you deserve! Doing weekly videos with only few who watch must be frustrating, but hang in there, you got this!! Crazy discipline, with that you can achieve anything!!! Greetings from Germany!

Over engineered, haha I have never done that myself, however, over analyzing, I am great at! :) Sounds complex overall, but looking forward to the "less" engineered concept next video! Very cool art work pictures, I like that you tied your hobbies into the art choices.

Haha, thanks Kim! It's good to hear from you as always, I hope all is well! I'm hoping to get back to a more regular video cadence so hopefully there isn't as long of a gap between this and the next video.

Yay!! What an exciting day! I love your piano, and that it is in the front room.. and candle making!? What kind of candles, and how did you get into that?
@adambuilds4 ай бұрын
Ha thanks Kim! Yeah I have too many hobbies lol. Although to be fair, soy candles are pretty easy to make. Get some a fragrance, a container, some wicks, soy wax, melt it all together, and pour away! I tried it a few years back to save money because I was going through a candle phase. Not sure how well the saving money part worked haha 🤔

If you get addressable RGB strip you can define and control individual sections of the LED. The ones that have RGB lines have to be set all at the same time. You can add chase and twinkle routines if you get addressable LED.
@adambuilds7 ай бұрын
That would be awesome Belin. I don't need rave levels of control but even a color gradient across a wall would look nice. I built these in such a way that they can easily be swapped out so perhaps down the road I'll look into addressable LEDs. Thanks for the tip!
@BelinFieldson7 ай бұрын
I know you enjoy hacking together your own software solutions, so you might enjoy building a controller that hosts a web server which allows you to control it all with your phone / computer. ESP32 controllers are cheap and I've found them to be fun. They have built in wifi radios.
@adambuilds7 ай бұрын
@@BelinFieldson That sounds right up my alley! And hey, if those wifi radios work even marginally better than some of the "smart" lights out there now, I'm *sold*.

Lucky 128! Good job man, you're really hitting your stride with these! It's awesome to see your progress, both with the renovation and the video production! No joke, you've got 90% of an HGTV pitch here. Aesthetically, the 55 looks like it fits better than the 65, but if you're really going to use it I'd go 65. Congrats again, and I can't wait to see the finished project!

Thank you sir! Haha lucky 128 indeed :D Really appreciate the thoughts on the TV and the cheers! We'll have to organize a get together sometime soon, I still want to hear about your CT trip!

Go for the 55”. I think the 65” is too big for that wall. You wouldn’t put a framed art piece that big there. PS - I have The Frame and love it.
@adambuilds Жыл бұрын
Thanks Joe. I've been thinking about it and I think you are right, the 65" seems too big. Thanks for your feedback! Especially from another user who has The Frame. Can't wait to set one up!

Good eye, I am admittedly quite behind on the KZfaq front. As of today: - Painting is done - Flooring is in - Lighting is complete - Finishing electrical is 1/2 done - Cabinets are 1/2 done - A few dozen small projects like speaker wiring, porch siding, and yard work have been underway Things are happening faster these days so I am trying to catch up on YT. Thanks for watching Schwab family!

Do you use different grades/ consistencies of mud for coats 2 and beyond? Hi Adam! 👋
@adambuilds Жыл бұрын
Hey Spencer! Really good question. My texturing company recommended USG Total (the red box) for all applications. It's harder to sand than a lighter mud but it's also stronger. For taping, I do mix the mud wetter since the paper tape is very "thirsty". From what I've read, mud that is too dry for taping will blister (i.e. if you use mud right out of the box). Cheers!
