Most artists are lucky to get one big creative bursts. One of the biggest things that makes me happy to live in this particular universe is that Thom Yorke and all his bands are here too. Their music has pretty much always had that "fresh young band with tons of creativity in the tank" feeling. Which to me... is exactly the beautiful shit. Grow talent, and then just write quickly and play your heart the fuck out. I love radiohead, the smile, thom so much.

Although, I don't like the balance of the layered vocals in this version. The background vocals are too loud, imho. The rest of the instrument and percussion arrangement and mixing sounds more consistent and coherently balanced in this live performance than the studio album version. The final version's mixing is all over the place tonally. I know they did that intentionally, but it just sounds like an "unfinished" work-in-progress track on the album, like stitching together various rough mixes that don't really gel. I especially dislike the drum/percussion mixing on the final album version.

I love this channel. My one criticism is that you never seem to clarify when a performance is Radiohead or when it's Atoms for Peace or a solo performance. I have to look up the concert to find that out

Yes! It is very cool to see. For example, for their new song Wall of Eyes, its lyrics showed up on King of Limbs paraphernalia 13 years ago, and it formed into the great song it is today, probably reworked over the years

I think there might be a studio version in this style hidden away somewhere. Radiohead recorded two songs in jack white’s studio around the time they played at bonnaroo in 2012 which were never released. I bet it was early versions of this and identikit

This was with Flying Lotus and can be seen in the video "Thom Yorke & Flying Lotus, Live at Low End Theory". Thom grabbed a mic and sang a bit. I wouldn't be labeling this as Radiohead or The King of Limbs but to each their own haha
