Hi, Great video. I have the same Hustler and overall pleased with it. However, I've had a terrible time with the transmission mounting brackets and hardware. The bolts have either sheared off or come loose or the brackets have broken. Have you had any of these problems? Hustler would cover the replacement under warranty, but would force me to go to a dealer. As a pretty good DIY, I found this very frustrating. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Please show a close up of all wiring connections. That is what I am specifically trying to make sure I am connecting correct. Everyone glosses over that as though they are making these videos for accomplished electricians. Also, if you know the best way to add a back up battery into the system please let me know. Specifically the wiring configuration and routing. I understand you were not making a dual battery set up demo, but the only videos that show that, again, gloss over the close up of the connections which is the only thing I’m really even watching this for .

This vehicle reminds me of the lennox pulse furnace in the 80s, great piece of equipment that needs a little extra maintenance that the manufacturer does a terrible job of telling the public. I was having issue after issue with the dpf regeneration chrysler never told me about dpf cleaning fluid or alphaobd software, once you learn how to take care of these they are great.

Just bought a raptor x 42 inch and they did address the weak bracket but now it’s welded to the frame. So if it breaks it’s non replaceable. I’ve put 1.8 hours on it and they are already slightly bent. There was very little room between the bracket and the transmission so it bent slightly until the trans housing is pressed firmly against the bracket. Pretty worried about this machine already. I’m not a welder and once it’s breaks I’ll be screwed.

5 times at the dealer in the first 6 months? Wipers and cruise control going bonkers because of some well know connector failure? Your a much more patient man than me. I’m glad your happy with the truck though. Whatever floats ur boat.
@GilbertGardensАй бұрын
@fergyspoolshots it was very frustrating early on due to emissions. I've had the same cruise control issue in our jeep compass 2011. It's something in the steering wheel I believe. It works if you move the wheel up and down a bit. Weird. Not a game changer for me. 1200+ km per tank highway was what I was after.

I got a 15 eco in November of 23. It had 106k miles and now has 116k. I already got the oil changed once and am halfway to the next change. I listened to the 6-8k the dashboard tells me. I unfortunately live in an emissions strict county so im not sure i can delete my ECO Tho id really love to. But if i did would i be too late to preserve my engine this far into its life?
@GilbertGardensАй бұрын
It's so hard to say brother. You can get tunes to just shut the EGR valve off though. You cannot tell at all from looking at the truck. You'll still have your underneath emissions. That would help with motor and intake sludging

Have changed mine on my 3.0 Duramax 3 times already with no problems. Went to change it this time and I can’t get the plastic housing off to save my life. It’s extremely tight.
