This should be how not to paint a rifle 😂 and you should show bake stage. Sounds like its important. And if you baked it, as a guy thats painted cars, you should use a de iron like wheel cleaner, then a stripper to remove all containenents, then bake... also it sounds anal but use gloves. Paint isnt a fan of skin oils... even for a fast paint job i would do this. It is night and day the results. Also im curious if you could use a clear coat with hardnerer. Even a matte clear. That hardnerer would make it last soooo much longer. Be interesting to test. With a couple coats of high heat clear you could really protect and make paint last for decades. Someone should do a series testing it... Amazon search clear coat with hardner spray paint.... only issue might be heat rating. But maybe paint everything but barrel and gas tube. If you do do it be sure to allow days of drying between paint and clear. And 48 hours after clear before handling rifle.

I tried this with some self adhesive camo wrap I had lying around, and my Ultimak rail still was hot enough to feel even with a glove on. I ordered some of the other stuff, so maybe if I wrap it enough it will work.

I installed this Trijicon mount on my Beretta m9a1 and man was it hard as hell to install. I had to whack the heck out of it with my brass punch and hammer. I recently had my beretta Cerokoted to look identical to a m9a3 and I think this mount may have scratched my slide during the installation process. The front of the mount is extremely close to the slide. I noticed a light color dust in front of the mount on my slide so I'm certain it scratched it. It's a solid piece and is perfect for my Holosun 507c Vulcan. Be careful when mounting this on your beretta as if it is 1mm to far over to the left side the safety lever will not line up perfectly and will sit angled.

This may come as a surprise, but not every special operator takes super good attention to detail to set up their kit. Believe it or not, its usually older guys walking around with cables everywhere, and their plate bags super low. They've been in too long to care, and they're usually in the back of the stack, so they dont need to go fast.

i truly can't imagine anyone who's been in, especially in a select unit, going to an outfit with arms discretion, and saying "yeah, i really want to run a draco."

also his bib device is the Prc remote unit. it's just a way of keying the 152 (weird that a non-gov unit is running 152s imo idk) and allows you to get away with a back of kit or off body setup for the radio. I can think of four or five dudes i knew who needed to run a lot of radios and i know zero people who like these setups. mostly you just run it up front and key the unit directly. oh shit update didn't realize he was running that huge brick instead of a 152. still probably not commercially available but it explains the remote device.

nowhere near enough counterweight for the panos. his setup looks a lot like some of my friends, but even for my duals i tend to run a little more weight than just the ANVIS battery pack i have. i'd probably have a whole roll of quarters rubber banded to my shit or some tire weights. I'd also avoid putting the H* on the very top of my dome, it seems like you're gonna be finding doorways with it. maybe farther back on the loop field.
