Nice vid, very well made. 😁👍Just curious...as a mecanic do you recommend the Cx3's? I've been told the Skyactive engine has had issues and Mazda's are know for electrical issues as well as expensive sensor issues, especially the anti-pollution system. 🤔
@NexusAuto
@NexusAuto 17 сағат бұрын
@JohnDoe-md2sb thanks! So, I would recommend the CX3, as long as it fits your needs and lifestyle. They do have their issues, and all of the above are accurate. But nothing was significantly higher than failure rates with other manufacturers. With skyactiv, you have to be on top of maintenance and if not, these issues increase dramatically. Even the 'big reliable' companies like Toyota and Honda have their own share of issues. My biggest issues, personally, with Mazda isn't their cars, but their customer service at dealerships and working within their warranty. I've never owned a mazda personally (but worked on quite a few), but everyone I know who owned a mazda seems to have significant issues with their respective dealership, more than others, it seems. But otherwise, the skyactiv engines are fine as long as they're regularly maintained

Any way you can show where the O2 sensors for a 2013 infiniti jx35 are located?
@NexusAuto
@NexusAuto Күн бұрын
@edwardresendiz8055 I don't have a video at the moment, but I can tell you right where the upper catalytic converters are, which is right at the exhaust manifolds. There is 2 cats, and 4 o2 sensors, 2 for each cat. One before the cat, one after the cat. For pretty much all of them, it's not easy jobs to replace them, as the y pipe underneath needs to be removed to especially access the rear cat and 02s

Great video. Thanks for posting it. I have a question. Where can I look up the part number for the O-ring? I bought my JX soon after it was launched in 2012 and has the same drain plug/O-ring as in your video. It appears that the design was changed soon after and the later versions don't use that O-ring. I talked to dealer and the guy kept insisting that I need the copper gasket which is not correct. If you know the part number please let me know.
