Hi i have a question, what layer height do you recommend? P.S. the model is fantastic!
@P1lotzАй бұрын
First of all, thank you for your comment. I appreciate it a lot. Secondly, I recommend that you make the main part of the joint as round as possible (on the back at least. You can always add more details on the top), to maintain the best possible articulation. The size of the model can depend. What I recommend is to put the model inside the slicer, and see if any joints are linked, depending on the size.

I suppose you can, if you change the body part a bit, as in making details on it.

As long as you change some part of the body part it can be used as an independent model you can't just grab it and use it

Depends if it's a KZfaq video or commercial use. If you are selling it, I have some clear rules about copyrights (including either 10% of the income, or an active club membership in my printable club), however, if you have printed it, just for your enjoyment, then uploaded a video of it to KZfaq, I'm more than happy for credits.

Hey man, I found your channel from your dragon tutorial. I have a question for you, do you know how to cut articulating dragons into parts so I can upscale it and then link them together after? Thanks in advance
@P1lotz4 ай бұрын
I haven't tried it, but I'm sure there are tutorials on a similar subject here on KZfaq. I mean, you can always make a system that can click the parts together, or cut a part in half, then glue it afterwards.
@MailandStudios4 ай бұрын
Found this tutorial and started making my own little flexi buddy however the second boolean modifier in the joints part doesn't seem to work. When i apply the boolean and make all the other joints appear, it adds one to each joint. How important is the boolean modifier here?

Hi i have a question, i'm new to 3D printing and I love your designs, however Cura says I need to have supports enabled or it will fail but if i add supports it will bind. Is it okay to print your dragons without supports enabled in Cura?
@P1lotz5 ай бұрын
Yes. The dragon has a unique design made for printing without support. If the print fails when using no support I do recommend using rafts, but only as a plan B option. Happy printing!

In blender you can use the boolean tool and a cube to remove the button layer, as I do multiple times in the video. In cura I'll recommend you to find a quick tutorial, because I don't remember it by hand.
