Flexomatic is the only one I am familiar with enough to know it does work. You set your pay rate, travel time to warehouse, and it goes to work. It is against policy to use, but hey others are doing it. flexomatic.io/.

I believe it does, but it can work against you also. If you just accept everything, the algorithm will realize that you’ll take crap, and will offer you crap. I say, accept as much as possible, but have minimum standards that you won’t go below.

I was officially hired as of Monday. It is now Thursday, I am constantly checking, all different hours of day and night, very frequently. Constantly refreshing, every single time, no offers available. I have my availability set from 12:00 am to 11:30 pm. I've cleared my cache. Absolutely not one job. I don't understand.

Which metro area? And you can set the times to 12:00am on both. Not sure that will matter. When in the filters are there a lot of options for warehouses and retail? Like more than 10?? All I can think is that maybe it is just slow. Make sure notifications are turned on as they do send a push if the pay rates go up. And if you don’t see anything for a few days, it might be worth reaching out to support Sorry for the trouble

Hi. I use cap cut and do all the editing right on my phone in the app. They do have a desktop version. I do pay for the cap cut subscription. I initially used vlog star, but found cap cut was better.

Yeah, still supplementing with DD, but the market just seems saturated with dashers. So if not a top dasher “or platinum” just hard to get on and get runs. Thanks for the comment.. there will be more to come on Shipt.

Nope. In fact, you can wait as long as it takes as a restaurant, although it may not be profitable. If after you confirm and pick up, the delivery by time looks like you will be late, just close the DoorDash app and restart it. Should give you a refreshed delivery by time. DD will not punish you for having to wait.

Omg I'm so mad right now 🙆♂️🤬 which is why I'm here looking how to remove FALSE ratings 😭 so MY MOTHER just started dashing and she loves it ! SHE LITERALLY DOES EVERY ORDER SUPER FAST! and she's the LOVELIEST WOMAN EVER JUST ADORABLE AND SWEET !! she's NEVER got ANY 2, 3, 4 ratings only 6 of the 1 star ratings, 4 of the 1 star ratings were EXCLUDED it says because they detected the customer was trying to commit fraud (what about the ones the system doesnt detect??) and 12 of the 5 star ratings thats when i knew people were lying because why would you rate someone who's fast, follows instructions, literally even bought a better bag to keep the food warm in, is so lovely if customer comes outside she always asks customer if everything is okay if theres anything else they need etc with a smile always, and she got the 1 star ratings she had got 3 of them so i was like wtf this cant be serious it has to be fake I started going with her and saw one person that immediately the 1 star rating appeared after we dropped their food off and I saw the TYPE OF PERSON they were... Just by looking at his TYPE of person I knew it was him he was that white man with fat woman with old clothes no money type in the run down neighborhood and old Altima leaking oil and They smiled and told my mother my sweet lady that she did an awesome job wished us a beautiful day and said everything was perfect and he went back inside his house and rated her 1star and said we took too long and food was cold and didn't follow delivery instructions WHICH IS ALL FAKE!!!! fRAUDD!! TO GET FREE FOOD 😢😢 they don't realize that jeopardizes my mom's only job and source of income they deactivated her account !!😢 I had to fight to get her account back! Damn, this made me realize I tip really well. I tip $10 for any delivery, value of the order doesn't matter because they are still soending the same amount of time and effort whether it is 5 or 20 tacos.

Yeah, I tend to think almost all tipping should be no less than $5 unless it it something that I am prohibited from doing myself. Like valet of the car when all they do is drive it into an adjacent parking lot. Those guys only get a buck, sorry. But yeah DD is usually 5 bucks unless I know they had to drive more than 5 miles round trip. Then I’ll try and tip 1.00 per mile. A lot of rural people do t think about this. And grocery delivery I usually will do 10%, and 15% if the order was accurate and timely. I think the good tippers like you really help us out when we get a no tip.

Amazon flex just re opened for new drivers in my market and applied right away! I also drive for spark so between doing the $18 hour jobs with Amazon flex and spark both high paying I know I can now make between $150-200 a day easy in my market 😊

@@Bhullarsaab92 yup, after gas. I drive a hybrid, so fuel is only a fraction of costs. (Usually around 10%). Now this is in Georgia, where gas is around 3.00 a gallon. So I could drive around 100 miles for 6.00. Assuming 1 dollar earned per mile driving, that is 6% fuel costs.

Great question. The Amazon app will tell you if another driver has reported a dog. But still, what to do?! If a dog is off the leash, I might try to call or text the customer. But if that isn’t an option, you just return to warehouse and say it wasn’t safe to make delivery. I’ve heard tale of using the paperboy approach and just throwing the package out the window. Probably not the best experience. But do t ever assume that a dog won’t bite. You never know.

Yup. But I didn’t become a fan of it until I moved to this zone. In general, if you are earning by time, you tend to get the orders everyone else has declined. But in this zone, it just works out. Tips are still okay, lot of long deliveries.

Today i picked up an order at a grocery store. It said 1 item, $4 tip, 10 miles. That would bring me a few miles away from my house and I was ending my dash after that delivery. So I took the order and it turned out to be 4 bags of groceries.......Someone is fibbing......and Some people are cheap pr*cks.

I've done 57 deliveries and had one review a negative one who stole claimed it wasn't delivered, it was. Ive had zero other reviews so because of this i can no longer work since i have a one star ranking from one persons review. Stay away from door dash its a scam on the drivers!

Yeah, this has been the trend for all companies. Offering worse service than you've received previously unless you pay for their top tier subscription service, which entitles you to what you used to get from just buying their product previously. I don't go in for any of it. I just got rid of Amazon Prime last year for the same reason, now they wait 6 days before they ship anything that I buy because I live close enough to their distribution hub to make prime meaningless. And consequently Amazon is the last place I buy anything from now. I'm using a 12 year old laser printer. Occasionally I buy a new toner for it. It's a beautiful arrangement. I don't know why anyone tolerates these new service models. There is no need.

It sounds like you’re on the dreaded waiting list. There’s no good answer for this, sometimes it’s only a few days sometimes it’s a few months, and my case when it comes to spark or Instacart it’s forever so far. I’ve been on both waiting lists for over two years. I’ve reapplied, and still nothing.
