So I’m figuring I could get some fun with my iPhone 15 ( it’s only a base unit). Would I be right that using the telephoto with the 48mp would benefit me? I do quite heavy post processing as I love the way daido moryama takes street shots ( black and white, contrast and grainy) and with the 1x lens I can safely crop by 50% and still achieve the result I need. With the telephoto I’m thinking I’ll obviously find even more use for subjects a little further away. It’s a shame though that the cases for the 15 are not MagSafe. It would be nice to slap a powerbank on the back as I’m out and about

Hi, David! Glad you like my time-lapse with the ship and the bridge. Yes, it's a bit long in the middle but I didn't want to cut it. The bridge opens every hour and the ship sails 10 minutes earlier so you know.

Great video David. Very helpful. I do have a question. You said to be careful with rotating the VND filter (gold it and then turn) otherwise it coule scratch it and the stepup ring. But what about the CPL filter then? This one had no separate ring and can only rotate in the stepup ring it lens itself. Or i’m I doing something wrong?

Great BTS video. What I think helped demonstrate the quality and clarity of the lenses was the complexity of the indoor set scenes: the variety of the objects, colours, lights and reflections, that were handled very well.

How does it work with 5 second exposure on every frame while the interval between the frames is 0,5 second? In my understanding the interval between the frames can't be shorter then the exposure.

Are able to use your Osmo without connecting Bluetooth? I tried mine three years ago and didn’t like it. I almost threw it away. DJI makes you follow the same criteria as one would use a drone. It’s just a motorized tripod but they want you to go through such troubles.

I need one or two apps to take Timelapse, long exposure and more manual controls. Do I have to purchase all four apps or is it enough with Reeflex and ReeLapse? Is there any bundle offer for these two?

This would have been incredibly useful if I had known about it in time for my European road trip. I carried a mirror less camera and heavy lenses, which made walking up to 15 hours a day quite taxing on my body. Being able to fit all that equipment into a small, lightweight bag, likely weighing about the same as the camera body, would have been perfect. As you said, you live and you learn.

I have this app and I really like it. The issue I found is not the app, is that I have the insta360 flow gimbal, which has the timelapse option that gives slow movement to the gimbal and allows you to have great timelapses with movement, but it only allows you to do it with the insta360 app… at the moment that you start the movement and change to the reelapse app, the movement from the gimbal gets cancelled. The only solution I found is starting the gimbal movement with another smartphone, but having the iphone attached to it instead, with the reelapse capturing. It’s not a great solution as you have to carry two smartphones, and both have to be capturing, but I didn’t find any other option. It would be great to have a better solution.

Looking at switching from mirrorless to iphone only, and loving the reeflex apps. With this macro lens, is it possible to focus bracket, at least using a macro rail? (something built into the app would be great, but for now, is th3e aqpp focus accurate enough to take say 40 frames and get front to back sharpness?)
