you are smart to write down the measurements as you make them. not me, i pretend to memorize the dimensions and make the wrong size cuts.... ;-(

My wife needs one of these as she has discovered tapestry . Great tutorial . Broom handle better option than dowel rods I've seen from other videos . From UK .

This is the first of your videos I've seen - good work! Nice to see another Aussie on youtube, and I enjoyed your commentary on your work and decision making. I see you haven't posted a video up in a while, hope it's just because you're busy, and hope to see more from you in the future!

Wonderful xxxx love the blue!!!

Thanks Gabrielle!!! The video doesn't truly do it justice. I actually wish I could keep this thing outside as the metallic fleck in it really pops in the sunlight. Maybe its a pity I didn't coat the house in a fine blue mist???

That’s a great job, Todd! It’s a bit of inspiration to redo my own shelves. And that blue is brilliant!

Thanks Shaun! In the big picture this is just a restoration, but for some upcoming projects I realised there was a pretty big gap in some skills that I needed to work on and this project more or less forced me to get my butt into gear and learn them. That blue is awesome and that paint (Hammerite brand) has cured super hard. Its not super expensive stuff. I bought a 750ml can for about 40AUD.

@@ShedSide77 always learning is the beauty of it! Where did you get the paint? I’ll have a look around Wodonga for it.
@ShedSide772 жыл бұрын
@@shaunfelton2046 I went to a tradie paint shop in town on the coast. I had to get them to order it (another of the delays as it took two weeks to arrive). You can get it online, but I found the postage was as much as the can of paint.

Yeah...i was told by friends and family that the name wasn't really fitting and I had to agree with them. I like this one. Project should be finished soon. Sorry for the delays. Lots I had to learn on this one.
