Most over produced set ever. Also the year I quit collecting because of it.

The year Mike Schmidt said he was going to retire i made it a point to see him play in person. The Phils were in Los Angeles playing the Dodgers and he was not in the starting lineup. Schmidt came up as a pinch hitter and grounded a single for an RBI . A pinch runner came in to replace him at 1st base. He retired in the middle of the season five days later. It was his last hit and RBI. I was so fortunate to see it.

The mini set is my favorite Topps set of all time. I hand collated the complete set. I don't think there are many PSA 10's (Lord, how i despise the grading craze) but every one is well centered, sharp corners, good colors/surfaces and not a single crease. Took me almost a year to complete and it was really fun to assemble it. I wonder how much $$$ an Ex-NrMt mini set is going for these days..?

That 1984 set was left behind by my younger brother and relaunched my card collecting addiction! I definitely have the Mattingly, Brett, and Ryan cards. Ungraded at this time

Very surprised at #1. It’s the only’91 Score I have. It was given to me by a friend when I got back stateside from deployment. Held onto it to this day even though I’m not a collector. Desert Shield/Storm vet - MAG-40, 4th MEB.
