This boat has been sold. These videos are not per se boat listings, but just historical video documentaries of different boats and a way for me to show the boats. Many, but not all, were for sale at one time and listed on brokerage listing sites for sale. Check the video description for a listing link. If the vessel is still for sale, the listing link will take you to an active listing and show you all of the information. If the boat has been sold, the video won’t have a listing link OR the listing link will take you to a “dead webpage.” The problem with stating a price in the video is that price can change (generally price reductions through the selling process), the boat may sell, and the owner may upgrade equipment…then the video would be wrong. The boats listing, on the other hand, will always reflect its current status. Once uploaded to KZfaq…you cannot edit the video. So the only real solution was to add a boat listing link in the video description. These videos stay on long term so that people can see what different boats look like and they become a historical record. When I am dead and gone, people will still be able to watch these videos and see what they looked like “back in the old days”. The name of this channel is Boat Snoop and we “snoop” around on boats. It isn’t called Boat Snoop Yacht Sales. Sorry for the confusion 😎

Spetember 28, 2022 to be exact. I will never forget that day. Trashed my 30ft boat 12 miles inland up the river, tore off my barn roof, and took down 18 trees on my property. Was crazy. It sunk the Hatteras 53 in this video 😳

Regrettably, she was sold and then Hurricane Ian sunk her 😞

This boat was destroyed by hurricane Ian. This video is now up for historical purposes.

They are nice and capable vessels. The largest Catalina I have ever owned is the Catalina 30. It was nice, but a 36 would be fabulous.

That is your takeaway? I video a boat and show it how it is. I don’t prestage and make it look different than how it really is…and I’m not a seller’s maid/interior decorator. Just showing the real deal and what the boat really looks like 😳😎

It’s my pleasure. A big reason that I shoot these videos is just to capture all of these boats for historical purposes. Regrettably, hurricane Ian sank this vessel and that is so sad 😞, but I was at least able to do capture her on video before it happened.

I use the videos to show the boat better. I don’t get into specs because that puts many people to sleep and I provide those details in the boats listing while it is for sale in the description. This boat has been sold…so there is no longer a listing link and now the video is just historical so that people can see what one of these boats look like. 😎

Yeah, that Catalina 36 was missing a lot of upgrades that many people would want. She was solid, but lean on extra niceties. There are two other Catalina 36 videos on this channel that are better.

They are cool boats. Beware of the extreme gel coat crazing though on many of them.

@peteh8077 The gelcoat protects the underlying fiberglass…so potential further degradation and damage is likely to occur. I don’t see this as sudden and catastrophic, but just a slow deterioration.

They are made by Parker of Poland. Since there is a US based Parker boat company...they are known by the importer Hussar and as the Skamander brand.

Don’t remember the exact too speed, but we didn’t exceed 30 mph, but got near there. Owner didn’t mention cruising speed or fuel range. Fuel range is dependent on speed and conditions.

They did run well. Overall, a very nice boat.
