Oh, it was not fun. One of the hardest parts of my journey so far. Lucky that the chain went when I was nearly at the top, still... There were more ups even after I hit the top as you saw

Yeh, most people go for the Thakhek loop and miss out on the Bolaven Plateau loop. The Bolaven Plateau Loop is some much more fun and interesting. So many waterfalls and fun things to do. I appreciate you watching and all your comments 🙂🙏🏽

Yeh, Nam Pien Yorla Pa is a fun place to go for a few nights. I recommend going if you're in Vientiane

It is a festival celebrated all across South East Asia. It comes from the Sanskrit word Sangkranti (which means the conclusion of a month/year/occassion etc).

Technically, it is the end of the Hindu calendar and the first day of Vaishaka is the first day of the new year. In India and Bangladesh, it will be celebrated tomorrow, Sunday. I guess for Laos it's on monday.
