I remember when I first found this song I listened to it on repeat for 3 hours straight, with no breaks whatsoever

I first found this song when I was a kid and it made me uncomfortable to listen to despite loving edgy stuff, nonetheless I found it recently in an older playlist and when I listened again as an adult I thought "this surely is about DID" since I have found out in the past couple years that I actually had it. it made me remember what it was like when I was in a period of being severely abused and my alters started to take over my life to keep me safe in their own ways and the confusion and despair I felt everyday, just wanting to end my life but I couldn't cause my system could keep me alive in the end, but it was so frustrating not understanding these "episodes" of losing control of my body and acting so different so rapidly but just dismissing and putting it out of my mind each time only for it to repeat over and over again everyday (yes, I would have severe PTSD and dissociative symptoms and attempt suicide that often for several months, it wasn't uncommon to even be many times in a single day). this song really does capture that so well, the pure chaos and feeling of if you have actually lost your sanity, I can feel your pain too and I know we must've been through similar. I even recently as well was diagnosed with schizoaffective and I didn't realize I had also been having mania and psychotic episodes since I was around 18 (actually possibly earlier) and so I especially relate having experienced and living both everyday. I also see people with borderline say they relate, yes I have been diagnosed with that as well, such is not actually that uncommon to suffer many disorders at once (even the lyric about substance abuse I caught which makes it all even so much worse!). the parts with Luka especially remind me of hearing alter voices in my head, they are actually that cruel at times since it's not uncommon at all for them to mimick abuse (it's a protective mechanism, follow the abuse "rules" from within to prevent the outside abuse, that's what I felt with this song too) so thank you for being so blatant about that. normally I wouldn't comment but I saw such solidarity in the comments it made me feel very happy, thank you for sharing and keeping up despite the harrassment and it inspires me to finish my own original music soon.
