I would say it’s closer to an intermediate/soft rubber compound. Similar material to a Dunlop MX53, and not quite as gummy as the MX34 or MX14.
@DavesInHisGarage21 күн бұрын
I picked up a razorback afew weeks ago, medium feeling compound with only a blue line (I've no idea how the lines signify compound) but I road hard pack clay and loose tacky mud and honestly it's as good as the stupidly expensive tyre, but let's take into context I'm not pushing a tyre to the max like many people will, but for me it's great.

You're in neutral and you bike tire is spinning?
@markammons99272 ай бұрын
That’s normal for Dirtbike’s. When the engine is running there is a very small amount of friction or moving the oil in the transmission but just enough to cause it to spin when it is off the ground.

Chin mount doesn’t show any of the roughness like a chest does.
I’d love to be able to ride them back to back again! I’d say the 125 XC may have been my favorite over the two just because it revved out a little longer than the 150, however the bottom end on the 150 definitely made up for that. To each their own!

I’m not too sure how the KLX300R is, but this will be quite the upgrade I’m sure! Going from mainly a trail only bike (KLX) to the cross country platform is a good idea, but the power may surprise you at first!

@@brandon.parker788 Word ! Copy that. Good thing for me is.. I ride my buddies 450’s all the time, and I also own and ride a 2019 Suzuki 650 so.. I think if I just keep my throttle hand responsible, as I have been.. I’ll be alright.

Haha, sounds like you’ve got it! I personally have a 2014 350 SX-F I set up for Enduro/GNCC and I love the 350 motor! Plenty of torque and power, but not overly powerful to where it wears you down like a 450.

Who is the potential customer for this bike? Who are they making this for? What Japanese bikes are it’s competitors?
@brandon.parker7883 жыл бұрын
This bike is for the everyday dirt bike enthusiast. For around the same price as the new Yamahas, Honda’s, Kawasaki’s, you can get a “KTM” that has less bells and whistles than the flagship model. Those differences being forged triple clamps rather than billet, silver excel rims, no map switch, baffle-cone in the muffler (ktm/husk do not have that), and no resonance chamber on the head pipe.
@warrenstemphly57563 жыл бұрын
@@brandon.parker788 sounds perfect, a great option for people who don’t need “the best of the best, of the best” but also want something different. I wonder if they could be serviced at a KTM/Husky dealership?
@brandon.parker7883 жыл бұрын
@@warrenstemphly5756 yes they can be! The majority of parts (mainly engine) are interchangeable between the 3 brands, since they’re all produced in the same factory. Most KTM/Husky shops now will more than likely start selling Gas Gas in the future as well.
@warrenstemphly57563 жыл бұрын
@@brandon.parker788 also good to know as there are a few Husky/KTM dealers close by but no Gas Gas as of yet (there is one who is accepting deposits!). I’m new to dirt bikes and I’m not interested in motocross or being the next Jarvis. The Yamaha WR250F is a possibility for me as well. This Gas Gas looks like it has guys like me in mind.

I really liked it, it was probably one of my favorite bikes i had rodent that day. It picked up very well and was felt like it had more torque off the bottom end compared to the 125. It also had great power all the way through the power and.

I apologize for the video showing adds over the Pros/Cons part so I've added it below: Pros: - $600 less than the KTM 250 XC-F and $300 less than the Husqvarna FC 250 - Great Torquey Motor - Revs to the Moon - Very Lightweight and Flickable Feeling - Frame feels planted, and not rigid. You can put the bike exactly where you want it - The bike rides inside lines very well - The New WP Xact inverted 48mm fork feels great - best production air fork KTM has put on any of their motorcycles - feels like my WP Closed Chamber spring forks but better - almost comparable to the KYB SSS Cons: - No Map Switch/ Traction Control - Forged Triple Clamps - Silver Rims
