As a Viet, I get easily tired of Pho, and Pho isn't even my favorite noodle soup. I've just come to realize that I prefer egg noodles over vermicelli. Secondly, Vietnamese noodle soups are very subtle in flavor. I wouldn't describe their soup as flavor-bombs or impactful. It's rich and smooth for sure but compared to Ramen's tare and aroma oil, not the same. It's always a treat to have Japanese Ramen, even if they take half an egg and give one slice of Chashu. The stinginess doesn't take away from the dish as a whole.

Theres a ramen joint in orlando fl, its right next to a pho place. Dude the way they fight by giving more and more food it got ridiculous. The ramen joint not only made an uneatable hot ramen they also give you 5 slices of chashu and a side plate of toppings. The pho place responded by giving you like a 1/3 lb of thin sliced meat and a full salad of basil and the sliced greens. Its like 2 grandmas fighting over the favorite grandson and we the members of the public approve of this fight.
