You are soooo funny, how you enjoyed our every day food. I hope you had a chance to meet some locals, couse food we make at home, made from home garden fresh vegetables and meet and cheese from neighbours farm is even better. Moms štruklji, bograč and ričet, you shurely tried some of my favourites. But there is plenty to explore.👍

Slovenia have so many beautiful places. Nature is well preserved.....traditional food is apsolute wow, with fair prices. Wines...are spetial story People are good...open and honest. Beautifull country in all....tailored for people. All the best from Cr🌞atia..... 🍀

You kind of have to be careful where you go to eat though. I'm Slovenian and I feel a lot of the restaurants are pretty basic generic restaurant food. The ones with limited choices tend to be the best.

It is the sauce, with the snail. The meat is rubbery, like percebes. But the sauce makes the whole difference.

Vada Pav as a sandwich was invented in the 60's, but Batata Vada existed long before that. People used to eat Batata Vada w/o Pav. There are still restaurants all over Maharashtra which only serve Batata Vada w/o the Pav.

tip for reading words when in slavic country: "C" is always pronounced "C" ([ts]), never "K" (example -> gibaniCa, FigoveC)

Actually only the meat one is the real burek. Cheese burek is not a burek but it is called "pita". Yes in Slovenia we call it burek, but you can't say it is original as it's not even a burek 🤣🤣🤣 But its good for sure whatever you call it! 😂
