The odd part of the story is that a lot of the younger married couples opted for something else because of the two-door front seat only design. Thus the relatively low sales numbers. Too bad because maybe if GM offered both a two-door and a four door version of the sport wagon, it might have sold in great enough numbers to have kept it in the line-up a lot longer. What if there had been a 67 Nomad with a big block 427 motor, radial tires and disk brakes? We can only wonder now.

So can you actually buy a Camaro from the dealership with a 10.4l V8? Cuz if not it doesn't really count. The Viper 8.4l V10 has less displacement but it's what came in those cars from the dealership without needing a really fancy trim package. The 10.4l is awesome I just don't see it being offered as a standard equipment option.
