How involved is Boeing in the competition? Considering the recent news about the company, am I truly safe to submit my aircraft without any outside intervention during or after the competition?

They are a sponsor, meaning they sponsor part of the $2M prize among other sponsors. They won't be interfering and let your creative juices flow. But I believe they can also offer mentorship during the competition.@@jonnupe1645
