We used to take the connector all the time, Corral Canyon was our day trip from San Diego for rock crawling. We were jeeps and Toyotas, but fun is what we had.

We got up the first waterfall in a stock-height Lexus GX460... got to waterfall 2 and saw nothing but blue skies 😆 didn't even notice the bypass for the 2nd waterfall... definitely need a spotter at that 2nd one! ❤

No Sidewinder bonus line footage? The V-Notch? The Soup Bowl? Saw yall go down one of the bonus lines the easy way where the locals use the bypass to loop around and go up for a challenge before continuing on. But, the Connector is no joke. You dont hit the connector, it hits you😂

Lmao I just got five 40s delivered and I was gonna ask my friend to help me because he has a truck. Turns out that I can probably fit three on my JLUR without removing the hard top, and I'll have the wife take the other two in the back of her Cherokee latitude, damn things have a lot of space. Currently running trussed and C gusseted RCV'd front and chromolied trussed rear. Lots of 1 ton guys giving me shit because I am not gonna spend $16k on a one ton swap 😂😂

How long have you been daily driving with beadlocks? What r your thoughts??
@BlubiconАй бұрын
They are not beadlocks. They are just a removable protective steel ring that prevents wheel rash. Look up Rugged Ridge XHD Wheels.

I would be so afraid I’d scratch my pretty paint job on one of those side boulders. Does the width of the wheels/tires prevent that from happening?

You only grease them upon installation. Apply grease to the space between the hole of the spherical and the inside edge of the cup. This is only to prevent water intrusion, not to lubricate the bearings.

Currently running 38s MT02 on 4.88s JLUR, 3.5 RK coils with aluminum tie rod, HD balljoints, steering brace, rcvs up front and chromolys in the rear. I might get both axles trussed because I really want to run 40s. They are only 7 lbs heavier than my 38s.
