I'm mixed about this patch. They did a decent job setting up Jade, and the consequences unleashed by Robin when she went to Jade to save Sunday. Jade feels like she has the potential to be such an interesting villain! When she calls firefly by her actual number and says that they're the same... I couldn't help but wonder if she's the one in Firefly Type 5 from Firefly's myriad celestia trailer. I thought she was Titania. But when Jade speaks to Oti, she also says that Oti isn't the only one who has been waiting for many Amber eras, and repeatedly says how patience is her best virtue. Topaz, Aventurine... both stonehearts are potentially sole survivors from their dying world as well. They have a type. Jade would fit into that type. I'm going to be keeping an eye out for it. But I feel Sparkle got underplayed. I'm also annoyed at Hoyo for ruining it in the trailer with the fireworks. There were zero mentions of the fireworks before, and we know fireworks are coming from the trailer. Logic dictates Sparkle just had fireworks in there. I hope to see more from her for sure. I love how she rick rolled everyone with the recital in one of the bombs :D Firefly X TB is cannon and I'm thrilled. Two of my top 3 characters in the game. Want to see so much more from Firefly. Her interactions with the Stelleron hunters are so wholesome! Himeko and Welt are never going to beat the parents of the Astral Express accusations. It was implied that sunday was captured on previous patch right after the fight by the family. The bloodhund NPC do not looking for sunday at all and focused on remaining remnant of order within family. Also about gallagher, he died. Due to his affiliation to history fictionologist, they will cease to exist if they were completely exposed. You simply missed that detail when he monologing beside watchmaker corpse and said that he will join watchmaker soon. Also gallagher slip a farwell letter into astral express mentioning his fate too. You can find his letter on table across the guest book.

This patch really was a great wrap up to the Penacony story. I know some people had gripes about how long the previous story patches were but I personally enjoyed the pace and build up and was just a tiny bit disappointed about how short this patch was. Regardless, I think they gave a really satisfying epilogue to a story truly worthy of having that honkai name and I can already tell they've laid the groundwork here for some epic moments in the future!

I suggest making a small reaction to the video HSR posted. After playing 2.3 this short 2 min vid made cry. Overall Penacony was great - be it the plot, OST or characters. It also manages to successfully wrap up things and set up new things. Loufu felt unfinished and many things gets only resolved by playing companion mission. 2,3 handled this much better The goodbye to IPC and Stellaron Hunters are in the side quest/event tho sadly as I wish we got a proper goodbye to the Stellaron Hunters. Especially after that cut scene

I love that Firefly and Silver Wolf are like sisters. In the character phone calls leading up to 2.3 launch (the ones that were mistranslated on social media as FF saying "I love you"), SW and FF are trying to bake a cake together, but almost start a fire, it's great. They released them in English as well. You're correct, it's "Amber Era", b/c it's a time standard made by the IPC in reference to Qlipoth. I'm pretty sure Numby's scared b/c Jade is basically the devil, or a jinn/djinn if you prefer. Sparkle and Silver Wolf being gaming buddies was not on my bingo card, but I'll take it!

personal theory: what if Sparkle was handing out buttons just to see how would desire the destruction of Penacony, who would not be afraid to die, to self-sacrifice. then she would gather them up and make an army of Fools

I love how in the texts Sparkle sends you after the story it confirms that she manipulated the events to have firefly survive because Silverwolf hired her- the stellaron hunters are such a great found family

I think Jade can read people’s minds and coupled with her “hobby”…thats kinda scary Acheron is a alt universe Raiden who met a bad ending and her entire world was destroyed…but she still kept the hope and belief alive even by herself 😢

Jade is a great villain. She is manipulative, and I hate her guts. (Reason why I do is in Boothill's story, you dan read it if you have him.) Secondly, Jade made a deal with Robin, to break Sunday out of captivity. But the price sge paid is still unknown. Which makes me worried, due to what Jade said with Bonajade Exchange. That people need to offer a thing with equal weight to their wishes. Which in this point could be Robin's life, since Sunday himself confirmed that he was probably going to be getting the death penalty. Or at best, Robin's freedom, since Sunday is held captive. Which really would be sad, considering the analogy that Sunady is the bird trapped in the cage willingly, while Robin wanted to break free from the cage, and after all this, she would go back into the cage again. Also with Acheron/Mei's secrwt ending, I really feel like that they refferenced either Kiana for Stelle, or Kevin for Caelus. (Imo I think they should've shown the flashbacks to Kiana and Kevin while tilting the screen on the Trailblazer, cause that woould've made a stronger impact on the player, but guess they can't give it away that easy, other than that I LOVED everything in 2.3) So in conclusion, this is why I love Penacony. It makes you think about so many things.

I really like that all the people are cooperating with Sparkle to pretend to find the bomb, but actually is pushing us and Firefly together! They are all great actor! This is so romantic and similar to the manga Love Is War.

You didn't miss anything wrt Sunday. This stuff is the "oh yeah we found Sunday" update. I'm guessing the Family was hiding him in the immediate aftermath and decided on a public trial later on to make an example of him when they figured out that the dream master was dead. That's just a guess though.
