If anyone ever had any doubt about adding a wood fired stove to their home then this film would wash those doubts away. I have watched all the homewood videos and though I love them all I think this is my absolute favourite. The words spoken tell of a time past, but that time can actually be had again. The family are adorable, and so content with life lived with the stove at its centre.

Rural New Zealand life,kids gain alot more .Out in natural areas, life skills seem more active than alot of clogged up city life styles. I respect this life,and obviously our young chef her has taken on alot of knowledge, which clearly shines in this clip.Keep up the good work mate

My aunt Millie had a wood burning stove she would cook on it all the time chicken stew man I loved her chicken stew is heated up the whole house she never had to use electricity to heat the house I love the memories I had there RIP Aunt Millie

Super common way of doing things here in NZ and Australia, but less common elsewhere - all domestic hot water then runs off that tank. You can learn lots (too much, I need to brutally edit it down) about this kind of thing here: www.homewoodstoves.co.nz/resources/heating-water-with-fire/
