How long does it last and then scatter?

it lasts forever! It will fade and look drab before the petals will even think about falling off. Buds were out 1st week of June and yesterday I finally deadheaded all of it but it probably could have been done after 15 days. I really don't like how it fades but it could be because of the full sun it is in.

They’re lovely! How long since you planted them from seed or as a tiny plant?🎉🎉🎉🎉

I stop and sniff them all the time now! I planted from seed mid-March indoors in root trainers but don't think it's necessary, just a tall pot as they have tap roots. As soon as they sprout, they went outdoors in a translucent covered tote to continue growing (or greenhouse if you have one). They're hardy, I brought them indoors at night only if it was below 5C. They got transplanted in a large pot with a trellis by mid-April, about 6" tall. I also sowed some seeds directly in the ground in mid-April too and they are only about 1/3rd the size of these. The heat may get to them before they bloom, we'll see! I'm in zone 6. You can also look up videos by Roger Parsons on his growing method.

Must see for sure - Whistling Gardens is probably closer to you - over 1300 peonies there. I’m also crazy about peonies, I’m the editor for the Canadian Peony Society so I could be biased about the flower, haha.

How long does it last and then scatter? I am interested in it. It is pretty.

This rose gets prettier as it ages to a peachy pastel shade IMO. Petals are sturdy even though they look delicate and hold on for quite a while, so doesn't shatter at all. I would say it looks pristine for over a week on the stem. Then I will cut it to enjoy for a few more days indoors.

The trunk is so Long. The flowers are on the top. Is it a hybrid tea rose,?

yes, tall and slim profile. It is a hybrid tea rose. I had pruned it to half the height back in Spring so it put a lot of growth on. Not masses of flowers but very large and fragrant. It works in this spot for me as I have a new woody peony growing beside it that needs the room.

bought it at Palatine Nursery in Niagara. They ship across Canada and US but it's a high demand one and its hard to get when they open up their online presales unfortunately!
