Would have been nice if they used the nut buddy on the same nut for the demonstration.

I could have used this when I had a Chrysler with those awful acorn two piece lug nuts. They were on so tight nothing we could think of would get them off. To make things even worse as if that was ever possible they had thin metal caps over the actual nut. As these abominations age they become harder to remove when that cap slips or deforms. If you have some place you have to be very soon hopefully you have a second vehicle or someone who can give you a ride. That is because removing these maddening things may very well take all day. You will need drills and cold chisels. You may even need new wheel studs or a new hub by the time your nightmare caused by these things is over! I used to think that Chrysler was the only one who used these horrible things but it turns out even Ford does on some vehicles. For just a dollar each I had them all replaced with solid ones that also have a nice chrome finish. I never had another problem again! When you get a vehicle look and see if you have those cursed 2 piece lug nuts and switch them out before you get stranded on the side of a road and need to get it towed because you can't get the wheel off 😠 These things usually happen at the worst time and when you least expect them. It may be on one of those awful days when you have a zillion things to do and can not stop anywhere or have a moment of rest because you have such a tight schedule. I am glad not to have to put up with that kind of stress!

Taking off a lug that requires a 1” impact that puts out more than 1,500 lbs of nut busting torque with a 1/2” impact on a 3/8” hose, and to make matters worse you use and extension to make the impact even weaker. I get that it’s probably a great tool have, but there could’ve been many other realistic scenarios this could’ve been used in.

This tool is amazing! I used it on a roadside call today on three lug nuts my 1" impact couldn't budge.

Bobby, questions... The High Heat Resistant Black, does that stand up---without any failure---to Brake Cleaner? And I don't see any indication on the can as to whatt he finish is. Semi-gloss? Satin? Flat? Thanks.

I think when you are changing the blade to use the second half you can press the red button remove the blade flip it over and slide it back in to the top with the red button still pressed for a slightly quicker change. Then when the second half is used remove discard and slide a new one form the chamber as shown here. Thanks.

Your kidding right, using a 1/2" impact to remove a nut on the semi than put your tool up against? Idiot. the buddy is 1" drive so why aren't you a 1" impact for the demo? because your tool sucks

Wayull... experience has taught me that some nuts are just too frozen, to the point where the bolt gets sheared off with enough force applied. I doubt this tool could solve that problem.
