The compressor going nuts, this unit has a digital scroll compressor, actually, so it is staging up and down as normal, it is normal for digital scroll compressor to do that and this unit has one

What main controller does it have? Is it a VCB-X or VCC-X2? If it is a VCC-X2, there should be a RSMD module, which should be sending the speed to the condenser fan VFDs based on the head pressure reading. The status menus on the RSMD should tell you the setpoint and the current reading. Is this a make-up air/DOAS unit?

Nice job. It gets a little tense in situations like that when you’re pushed to get things back on line in a hurry. Glad there were no hitches. Are there pressure reducers in the building ahead of the fixtures? 120+ seems like a lot. I’m not familiar with multi story buildings.

I am dealing with the same thing. My diverter wasn't diverting. I tried to pull the diverter stem out and it was not coming out. I damaged it trying to gorilla it out. Next project is to put a hole in the wall and cut the whole mess out and put a modern single handle valve in there. 3 handle plumbing is no longer code in California (but grandfathered in)

The steam traps, as I understand it, stop the steam escaping when they expand. When they sense less than 212F/100C, they contract and open up to allow the condensate out, then the steam comes back which is 212/100+ they shut to retain it and give it time to cool and condense.

I used a spud wrench at work in order to loosen the nut located on the right side of the toilet, in an attempt to replace the vaccum breaker. Unfortunately, I somehow caused a leak from where the nut is and ended up having to turn the water off. It required a lot of force loosening that nut. Did that end up damaging it? Also, would Teflon tape help with fixing it? Thanks.
