@@ReaperGT From the resonator to the back it’s all straight piped. We tried gapping the plugs and that didn’t even work. The car has a 4inch diameter tip and that’s what I’m thinking the issue might be. But if not I’m completely lost on how to get it to work.

I used a large syringe (Forgot exact size), and a rubber hose that fit the tip and worked great for getting oil out.

The later ones tend to be better. I had a few of the earlier ones (1984). One was blown when I got it (could hear the rod bouncing off the oil pan), and another blew the head gaskets. The current one seems to be solid. Good daily driver. Terrible mileage. 😅 I am just going to keep cleaning this one up and driving it until the truck is drivable, then sell it. The biggest downside is finding replacement parts for the V6 cars. A lot of stuff isn't available, and half of what is costs three times as much as the V8 stuff. My neighbor with a V6 Firebird from the same era has the same problem.
