Thank you for this...I am a printmaker and have not tried using a chalk pastel as a resist...and I am currently experimenting with combining trace monotype with various other methods in printmaking. I am excited to try this and appreciate the time and effort that went into providing this instruction.

Everyone's a critic. I understood the process and found the video helpful. I'm pretty sure that was the point.

A tad nasty, don't you think? There is a more civilized way to critique.

Could one use oil pastels?

I'm going to guess that the oil pastels could interact more with the printing ink than chalk. It would be a interesting experiment.

You know I am embarrassed to say that I don't remember the pilots name. The fight was fantastic, eh? Hopefully you got to crawl down into the nose too. Amazing piece of history.

Yes, it took about 20 -25 minutes. You can go out on the platform and walk around if you want to stretch your legs. We actually walked back and forth on the train a couple of times.

So when you went down to Richmond from New York, did you stay on the same train the whole time and waited a while for a train engine switch in Washington, DC?

Did I ever respond to you? Sorry about this long delay. I put the camera on a tripod, shortened two legs and leaned it against a table. The I took masking tape (!) and taped those two legs to the table so the tripod wouldn't move that much. Then. lots of little movementss around the whole setup! Thansk!
