This isn’t a hate comment this is just my personal opinion. I would never pull a booster line on a car fire especially now with hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles being the new norm. I can tell this car is a gas vehicle and that the fire was out quickly so good job with that. In a case where the vehicle is fully involved you have next to no way of telling what kind of vehicle it is unless you ask the owner what the make and model is. I have seen plenty of car owners who don’t even know what they have. The problem is booster lines can’t produce a good enough pressure rate or flow rate. You are much better off using an inch and three-quarter line with a fog nozzle. If you need foam that works great too. You get way more pressure and a better water flow rate and if the car is on fire it’s already totaled so it shouldn’t matter. I also really hope that you guys aren’t bringing in a booster for a structure fire either because we all know what happened in Charleston. Regardless of all of this good stop I’m glad everyone got home safe!

Might sound strange but 22mm high pressure hose reels are the standard first attack for residential fire's in the UK, the first arriving appliance can get two in play within 30 seconds of arrival and the vast majority of homes are brick built Which changes the way you fight the fire, obviously you do set out a main jet after you connect to the hydrant (very few buildings will not have a hydrant close by) but mostly to two 22 reels are sufficient to do the job
