Mine works perfect on hard floor but does error 2 after a couple minutes on carpet, took the gearbox apart cleaned and re greased and cleaned out every inch of the roomba and put new brushes in, made zero difference.

house i inherited from my grandparents built in 1950s has this type of wiring. only hot/black and white/neutral wires, no ground. i want to eventually replace it with all new runs of romex

Definitely older then 40 the wiring in my house looks just like the wiring in that house that old cloth style I believe the last time the wiring got updated in our house was the 1930’s but we do have new light switches hooked up.

Thank you! My smoke detector is too high for me to get the new battery in, even with a stepstool. Maintenance won't be able to get to it until the morning. I was preparing for a night of sleeping in the living room until you mentioned flipping the breaker.

I have same Problem! Check all your Wall Socket! Wires could be damaged and tighten all the Screws that connects to the Wire! Make sure turn off the Main Power before you check all your wall socket! Good Luck!
