Not sure in this case, but there's a lot of birds that leave the nest intentionally. Part of their growing process. They live on the land until they can fly. They are called fledglings when they're at this stage. The parents still look after them by feeding them but that is it.

I said that for 64 years I went back home to my little town of Walla Walla, Washington. It didn't feel like home. It's been taken over and then taking over again.And now it's on the downhill swing.At 1 time it was a beautiful little town, so nice.They named it twice and the water was soft and clear and beautiful

The old wood pier foundation was completely failing, and needed to be addressed. I went this route so I had the possibility to put a basement in, in my area they are nice to have in case of tornadoes. 🌪️ Cheers

Well done, I have just hooked up my starlink and will need the google mesh network, I was really impressed with how far it reached for you. My office is in a detached garage being renovated, so this will work perfect. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Be very careful with the return window. I have had my dish for two months, but only set it up a month ago. Now past the return window, and am unhappy with the intermittent service drops, difficult customer service and the money invested. Also, now they are offering a premium subscription, but are throttling all of the original customers to enhance the new tier. I was a strong supporter, but now the honeymoon is over and I have buyers remorse. Good luck with your new service. Just watch that return window if you find yourself on the fence.

Thanks for dropping me a line and sharing your experience. Thus far, I have had good interactions with customer service. Since I was able to use the included tripod, I was able to return the roof mount I ordered. It was simple, easy, and customer service responded quickly.

@@Driftless_Tone The throttling is more of a theory than a real issue. People think they are throttled because of more users. But this makes no sense, since the premium subscriptions are not active yet. I would advice you to get a cable from your router (Starlink ethernet adapter) to your house for a second router set up as switch + access point. You can also consider fiber instead of Cat5e, since converters are really cheap now and it works better in a wet trench.

@@la7dfa Yes, this is the plan. I am waiting for the adapter to be shipped, and my plan is to run a hard line to the cabin (underground). Thanks for the comments!
