I can't say I am particularly convinced by the stated rational for the shroud on the suppressor. Except maybe, from a strictly forward aspect. The barrel is going to be plenty hot, and visible easily through the M-Lock holes by thermal imagers.

I still dont understand the forward assist? If a cartridge wont load surely its better to eject it and check why it didnt chamber.

Asides from being really expensive and a bit boutique it seems like a bit of a kick in the balls to the bulk of the army Guards,Rifles,Fusiliers etc that only Paras and Marines get this , I mean what about them ? .

Why make a mechanism to release a trigger guard, when half your accessories are Magpul? Have they forgotten about neodymium magnets? Also it'd have been easy to furnish somewhere to stow it tbh, pull off one area, put it back in another, whether it clips on or not. Or just make a more capacious one for arctic warfare and swap them over.

Yank here with a decent AR-15 collection, and I would trade them all and my left bollock for a KAC KS-1. I am jealous of all the British bros that get to use these. I will be buying one as soon as they sell them for civilian consumption. The British have freaking outdone the US military with their choice for a new primary weapon for their troops. The new 6.8 SIG rifle is just a poor choice when it comes to a primary infantry weapon and should have only been intended for use as a DMR.
