This song was running through my mind lately, I'm sure it's been 60 years since I last heard it. Judy Garland's live version is wonderful; especially when compared to Joni Mitchell's off-key version.

Judy left an indelible mark on the history of cinema, very sad and painful that unfortunately her talent was only to make money, without really caring about the human essence and how valuable her talent was as an artist, her value as a person. We will always remember you with love, nostalgia!! We never forget what leaves a mark on our lives!!! Your innocence in the wizard of oz will always be remembered, your entire legacy and most importantly we will not forget you!! Rest in peace beloved Judy!!

Tough girl at such a young age. Having to endure that with her dad near passing away. 😢 Hell of a performance, though.

Definitely Judy's best studio album. For some reason I thought that this was recorded in 1959. Beautiful string arrangements on this track and "Alone Together". Also love, "If I love again" and "It never was you". Thank God it was recorded in stereo. If anyone out there still has a CD player, get this CD "That's Entertainment" before it disappears. bob in toronto

Just heard this version tonight. I thought I remembered Patsy Cline doing it, so I searched KZfaq and found it. But somebody else had the hit with it. Was it Jo Stafford?

How does someone take an "accidental overdose" of barbituates? Was she not aware of how many she was supposed to take? And how can anyone "rule out" suicide? The coroner was not there nor does he know what she was thinking/feeling.

Judy looked like a thin little bird during the last years of her life. She also looked years older than her actual age. My father and Judy were born in the same year (1922), but he outlived her by 44 years.
