It’s so insane that a player that good (2nd all time in points by 1986) had a 10 year head start on Gretzky, but Gretzky still somehow passed him in points before Dionne even retired… 😮

The other point here that needs to be made is that while Bobby Orr rocketed to the top of this list, he won the best defenceman (Norris Trophy) 8 years in a row. That fact is mind blowing for me. The best who ever played the game and it's not really even close...
