What the hell are you talking about??? In MY county these cars are hard to find especially the Sri. The car may not have been road worthy when I started but it got a full Mot which is probably more strict than your inspection. I drove the car for a year and sold it for £1500 the guy I sold it to still has it and has put it through mot a couple of times, it is now in storage.

@@HippyRoss. I do not doubt your word. But in Portugal the reality is different. These cars have no value at all. For example searched today. Corsa 1.4 Si in very good condition 120000 kms. 1500 neuros. Another example. Corsa 1.6 GSi good exterior condition needs restoration seats 240000 kms. 1000 euros. This is not to say that they can sell for that price. It is the law of supply and demand. As was his car, only to paint was spent about 1000 euros more interior and mechanical restoration. He said that it did not compensate for the restoration and most of them end up in scrap. Already few are on the road and must be in good condition. When I told you about these inspections in Portugal, they are made by state regulated entities and it is mandatory for all vehicles over four years old. These inspections are very strict, they measure everything with machines, they see the whole car and the car has to respect the national and manufacturer's rules. I am not a fan of Opel but it is a personal opinion. This year I bought a new car for my wife and preferred the Peugeot 208. But my late father had several Opel cars and always liked this brand a lot. It even had an Opel GT 1900 for many years. If you talk about 80s cars like Renault 5 GT Turbo, Fiat Uno Turbo IE, Peugeot 205 GTI and others like Lancia Integrale, there are crazy people in Portugal paying lots of money for these cars. I agree, these old bangers are prone to cracks right out of the factory nevermind 20 odd yrs down the line! Some serious 3mm re-enforcement required just to stop them breaking in half literally!!!

@@PANRamalho our inspection in Northern Ireland is run by the government so its very strict. This car is probably worth twice the value of when I sold it now that's if it still in good order I've not seen it in a while but I know its in storage

thats not easy to find.. i have the same failur.. no solution yet... i occures on high revs near 6000rpm or so.

ungezognee this one wouldn't start so I think your problem may be some where else
