Everytime the US has a another big expensive war it adds tens of thousands to new home buyer's morges & car payment contracts due to no fault of their own. The medium home price now in over 200 majore US cities is 1-Million dollars in 2024! If you kids all knew what was good for you you'd drop-out of THAT social contract! There's a way better life waiting for you in off-grid living communities springing up now all over America. Break the mold, be daring, experiment, adapt, overcome, and thrive. Learn to give back to the planet, and the planet will always provide for you.

Does the 40ft length include the Gooseneck bit? or is it just the "bed". So in truth its like a 46-48ft THOW?

Other than the siding, this home is absolutely perfect for me! The ceiling of the loft looked a bit low, but it was hard to tell. But there’s so much storage throughout, I would probably use it as a cat loft and reading nook anyway!

Correct me if I heard wrong - 320,000 New Zealand dollars? It's not just 320,000, it's 320,000!!! That's a lot! Yes, New Zealand is not a cheap place, but to say "just" is not appropriate even with their prices. *Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Earthship, the film and the family! =))

Everyone MUST look at the chemical components of what we are CONSIDRING to affect the natural world with, so as to save in the long run and away from dangerous chemical agents around our families further down the ages as these materials breakdown and affect, not only our health, but the health of our grandchildren. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP INTO A SUPRISINLY MORE COSTLY SESPOOL!!

It's a nice unit with all the wood and everything. Personally I still prefer the Hazel! I prefer the two bedrooms style. Is it possible to do what I am calling a "CANADIAN HAZEL" tour, even if it's a digital tour of the 3D computer model like you did the video showing the different optiions for Canada and the US? I would like to see the Hazel layout on a 40ft. gooseneck trailer. Cheers!

Ah, work trade, yap, that can be a fun summer experience. You camp for free and you are fed. You gain experience. You find friends. If you're a good worker, you gain a bit of muscle.

Do you buy a wet horse or a dry horse? When I worked at the farm I noticed the horses were way prettier when wet Their valium was bold with definition that brought a thought of citrine or joy (happiness)

I feel the emphasis of this show was deeply superficial... It would have been nice for this show to cover more about the passive cyclical recovery systems, for water, heat and electric. After all, that is the foundation principal of this form of architecture.
@rw920711 ай бұрын
Given an environment with high rain fall, it might be better to not build into the side of a hill with run off... Build on flat, with an earth thermal mass built up manually. This would allow for better drainage. Plus, the cooling tubes could run to the back of the house, reducing distance and cost.
