If Dr. Martin Luther King were alive, he would denounce Zionist apartheid as Archbishop Desmond Tutu and many others have. The UN ruled that the Zionist settlement expansion and stranglehold on Palestinians with US assistance is causing the violence. How would we feel if our country was invaded, our land and homes taken, our family and friends killed or imprisoned? And yet, Zionists claim the right of self-defense in the name of God and ancestral rights when the Promised Land is a stolen land. Thank You Clarity Films for posting this very powerful film clip of the plight of Palestinians to help end the Zionist apartheid.

I also would like to say. I am 60 years old and it was not that long ago. But we’re still fighting the same fight in 2022. A different decade. But the flavor is still the same. Not much has changed. I couldn’t even fathom someone dragging me by my shirt or beat me with a night stick. I am thankful and grateful for everyone who sacrificed their lives for the cause.

People ask me all the time if I had to live my life over again and what year would it be ? My answer was the year 1964 but instead of being two years old I would've like to be 18 years old. I feel 1964 was sparked by the spirit of revolution that would be sparked by the tumultuous events of 1964 and reverberate throughout the rest of the 1960's and beyond was summed up in a song by Sam Cooke released in the final months of that transformative year and it was called A Change Is Gonna Come. In 1964 everywhere people are saying " I CAN DO SOMETHING " change is possible , change is worth living and dying for and would we dare go forward? Yes we would. It was the creation of a new America and a door to our future and one we went through it there was no going back. 1964 saw a series of events that really did crystallize the tension between the tremendous sense of idealism coexisting the dawning sense of outrage. Here it is America , here's the bad now let's make it good and that's what were about. Were Americans. We were still on fire and what we were feeling what it was like to mobilize and I think I determined that coming out of that and that is possible to change the course of history. Like I said I would pay money to live through that whole era again and I would make all the same mistakes. 1964 was the propulsion from the past into the future. Yes it has been a long time coming but I know a change is gonna come

The Steve Biko song though hit home hard. Steve Biko was an anti-Apartheid activist and died in the hands of the Apartheid police and was tied in a rope at the back of the police van/truck and dragged for kiolometers and sustained injuries that led to his death.
