I had the exact same issue you describe. I was able to repair easily! The issue is a cable that has been disconnected inside the drone. The cable in question is located inline with the SIM card slot inside. I removed the 6 screws from drone and the 4 holding motor arms on. Wiggled top cover off, right behind camera mount you will see a black ribbon cable, if you move it you should notice it dangling. There is a vertically mounted PCB right next to that cable. In the middle of the board is a small square 24 pin connector. I just slid the PCB upwards and carefully reattached the cable, reassembled in 10 minutes and was flying! My issue was, WiFi connected, camera movement, no app control, no flying! Exactly as you describe! Hope this helps someone!
