Oh these look beautiful! I have only tried Maimeri watercolors- which I love- so now that I’m working with oils again I am very interested to try these 🤗

MaiMeri Blu has always been known to be made with binder and pigment with no extra additives. This is true. However, the binder is not just gum Arabic alone. Binder for watercolor paint uses gum Arabic, and a humectant, like glycerin, honey or dextrose syrup so it can rewet after its dried. Without the humectant, the paint would dry hard as a rock and will rewet with extreme difficulty. Anyone who makes home made watercolor paint knows this. If you want the paint to disperse well and flow readily through the water, a dispersant agent has to be added as part of the binder. Ox gal was the traditional way once upon a time, But now days a synthetic version is used by many brands. The more gum Arabic used, the less active flow the paint will be. A paint made with only gum Arabic and pigment will not rewet, nor will it diperse and flow on a wet surface. I believe it's a total misunderstanding about what the paint binder really consists of. Many brands add fillers, brighners, and preserves. MaiMeri doesn't. It's as pure as it gets.

How does one get in contact with Maimeri about MaimeriBlu artists quality watercolours? I cannot seem to actually get in touch with a human. I did send an email and the response I got was not funny, it stated that Maimeri was closed for the Christmas holidays and they would get in touch when they reopened. I recently bought an expensive set of Maimeri paints and have a concern that I need to speak to someone about. Starting to think that the company sells paint that looks good but has no customer service behind the paint.

Bellissima idea, ma il video deve essere fatto con una risoluzione più alta e una illuminazione migliore. Inoltre non c'è una inquadratura che faccia vedere bene le varie tonalità a confronto. Sarebbe anche utile dichiarare la carta su cui è stata eseguita la prova dato che quest'ultima modifica molto la resa del colore. Avendo testato i vostri acquarelli devo dire che sono davvero stupendi, eccelsi. Però il prezzo dei set di godet è troppo caro a mio avviso a confronto con la concorrenza. Spero che la vostra marca sia maggiormente conosciuta e abbia il successo che merita.

Buongiorno, ho eseguito un dipinto su una tavola da skate in legno e vorrei passare applicare una finitura lucida trasparente. Sapete dirmi se questo prodotto è adatto appunto su supporto in legno e sopratutto se non va a scolorire e sfocare rifiniture fatte in inchiostro di china? Vi ringrazio anticipatamente .
