Good stuff Bob! This ball looks very versatile to me. I kept waiting for this baby hook across the lane but it looked very controllable. Thanks for the review.

I used the arctic vibe in my Wednesday league. Wow. Call it new ball carry or something. Rolled a 7 bagger with it and ended with a 238. I'm liking it so far

I love this ball. Had shoulder injury and hadn't bowled in 12+yrs. Researched new equipment & how lanes have changed. Decided to get a new ball. Don't have the speed or revs as yrs ago but no slouch 😊. Last few yrs in leagues avg 198-205. Bowled 30+ games with this and avg 218-220.. wow! After 12+yrs on the mend and come back shooting better. Ball is definitely my 1st go to ball

Would you know your ball speed? I’m thinking about matching your layout but want to see if our speeds are similar.

Depending on the day and how much I'm shaping the ball, I'm usually between 15.6 and 16.5

You are using a 3.5 pin yet you have pretty high revs. Do you notice a big difference between 3.5 and 4.5 which almost every pro shop recommends for house shots?

I heard that those who have not ordered and don't have a pro shop with one in stock will have to wait til mid to late April as it is that popular. I got mine drilled on monday it is the most versatile ball I have ever thrown.

This was drilled in my favorite layout is 65 x 3-1/2 x 25. I have a bit of a forward roll, and this helps the ball retain energy.

Already bought. 647. Hit pocket every shot. Left only single pins. If I had picked up my single pin spares. Would have shot 705. No splits and no multiples.

Walking, talking and bubble gum, great point. My coach told me that you can have only one positive thought in your mind before the ball comes off your hand. PBA league in Portland is super loud and crazy, the Pro's love it, but when it's quiet and someone crackles a water bottle it can be very disturbing. That's one reason why there are so many 299's, the house gets quiet.

Good video Bob, as far as spare balls go, I can flatten my hand using my strike ball but I would rather use my plastic spare ball. High performance balls don't last very long and it's very expensive to rejuvenate and resurface them. Why throw your $260 balls through the oil to pick up a 10 pen when plastic doesn't absorb oil.
@bobnewman11155 ай бұрын
I used to fatten my wrist but I'm more accurate throwing a spare ball. I don't actually use plastic though. The Hammer AXE that I use is reactive, but it only has a very small bell shaped weight block. If I'm flying to a tournament and have a limited arsenal I will bite the bullet and use urethane for my right side spares.

I just got this ball as a mystery gift and haven’t thrown it all too much. I’m RH, one hand w/thumb. I can’t get it to react the same consistently, that’s not a common problem I have with my other balls.
