Hi Ris ... I went to Old Catton Primary and knew about these losses back in 1958/9. From memory we actually visited the crash sites as kids full of wonder ... but age now prevents recall of any detail !!

Thanks for all your videos, my grandfather was Stationed at 125, 8thAF, 446th BG, 706th Squadron Flixton AF as a pilot...many incredible stories... Appreciate your passion for this time in history... In fact visiting the Museum today with my mother in tribute to my grandfather Col. William D. Kyle USAF.

I like what you’re doing. My wife and I are going to Budapest in September with the hopes of finding my grandfathers plane the Doughty Dragon. I have rough GPS coordinates from the missing aircraft report. Half of the crew died and he was taken to Stalag in Moosburg which we intend to visit

often wondered how german pow got treated by civies they had been bombing,hear horror stories of american and brit aircrews getting paraded thru cities and beaten and sometimes killed.

fascinating stories nathan,nan n gramps would tell me as a kid of the waves of german bombers heading towards london and the fear from that sound and that dreaded siren to head for the garden nissen shelter..
