i hate these things with all my heart. Go on the rocks at night they are everywhere. If you leave bait or a fish where they can get to it they eat it in giant swarms. Always tuck my trousers into my socks personally. And carry a flame thrower lol.

You're right, "Mahonia" is the genus for Oregon Grape. The Oregon Governor's Mansion is named "Mahonia Hall" in honor of Oregon Grape the State Flower.

The brooder has for big vents and it sits on a grate. Lets the fresh air in and the hot air and moisture out.
